A widely followed crypto strategist and trader believes that steep rallies are in store for one Solana (SOL) challenger.

Pseudonymous analyst The Crypto Dog tells his 829,200 followers on the social media platform X that layer-1 chain Sui (SUI) may be poised to witness huge bursts to the upside after printing a new all-time high (ATH).

With blue skies ahead for SUI, the trader thinks it is within the realm of possibility for the altcoin to go vertical.

“We gonna see a proper parabolic ATH break run?” 

At time of writing, SUI is worth $2.32 slightly below its new all-time high recorded just hours ago.

Turning to the memecoin Pepe (PEPE), the trader thinks it is gearing up to take out its diagonal resistance and spark a new leg up.

“PEPE wants to start something.” 

At time of writing, PEPE is trading at $0.00000962, still below the analyst’s diagonal resistance.

Looking at fellow memecoin dogwifhat (WIF), the trader thinks the altcoin needs to overcome one downward resistance line to ignite rallies to fresh all-time highs.

“ATH run?”

 At time of writing, WIF is trading for $2.63, hovering close to the trader’s diagonal resistance.

As for Bitcoin, the trader says BTC is very close to witnessing a proper bull market.

“We break $63,500 it’s gonna be no items long only final destination.” 

At time of writing, Bitcoin is worth $62,682.

A popular analyst says he’s feeling bullish on crypto for the end of this year and is updating his outlook on Ethereum (ETH) and Solana (SOL).

The pseudonymous trader known as Altcoin Sherpa tells his 222,400 followers on the social media platform X that he’s expecting a “full send” phase for crypto around December or perhaps early next year.

“Personally I’m bullish going into late Q4 but until that time, I honestly have no idea. Still expecting some chop for Sept/October and then some fakeouts in November. Full send by December/January 2024 though.”

Looking at Ethereum, the trader doesn’t yet see any immediate reason to flip bullish on ETH.

But, he notes that the price has recently been correcting into a high-volume area, suggesting that ETH is sitting on strong support.

“ETH the only good thing I see about this chart is that price is about to hit a high volume node around the $2,200 – $2,400 level. Everything else about ETH is meh..”

At time of writing, Ethereum is trading at $2,438.

Altcoin Sherpa also has his eye on Solana, Ethereum’s biggest rival.

According to the analyst, Solana’s support at $125 looks exhausted after multiple touches.

“SOL at $125 seems like a fine area but this support region looks battered; would definitely save some $ for lower levels like $110 or lower. If trading, it’s better to be late than early in these types of charts, in my opinion. Meaning, it’s better to buy on the way up than knife catch.”

At time of writing, SOL is trading at $130.25.

The SEC faces legal challenges, PayPal’s stablecoin grows with Solana integration, and state-backed stablecoins gain momentum.

Here are some headlines crypto investors may have missed.

SEC Faces Legal Hurdles in Stablecoin Regulation

Binance and CZ have pleaded guilty to unlawful activities, paid billions in fines, and face huge legal hurdles, but the SEC just suffered a legal setback in its Binance efforts. The SEC closed its inquiry into Binance USD stablecoin issuer Paxos without recommending enforcement.

Paxos should celebrate the lack of enforcement action, but it may potentially affect crypto regulation.

Stablecoins will benefit as the SEC faces more legal battles to designate the whole crypto sector as securities.

Since these cryptoassets, almost all of which are backed 1:1 by the USD, were designed to be used as a medium of exchange rather than an investment vehicle, these setbacks may allow for more objective discussions.

PayPal’s PYUSD Gains Traction with Solana Integration

PayPal’s stablecoin initiatives have persisted after a low-profile launch and an SEC probe. Forbes reports that recent integration with the Solana blockchain has increased the token’s market cap to above $500 million. DeFillama data suggests that Ethereum’s supply is $399 million, 77% of the total supply, with the rest on Solana.

Solana supply jumped 58% in the first week of integration, while Ethereum supply dropped 6%.

Given PYUSD’s consumer name familiarity and Solana integration’s rise, PayPal and PYUSD appear poised for continued expansion and use.

Wyoming’s State-Backed Stablecoin WYST Makes Waves

Minting of the state-backed token began in May 2024 after some pushback and legislative issues. The 1:1 U.S. dollar-backed token will commence circulation in 2024 under the ticker WYST.

Senate Enrolled Act 85: Wyoming Stable Token Act authorized the Stablecoin Commission to create the first U.S. state-backed stablecoin. The Ethereum-based WYST will only be exchanged on centralized exchanges like Coinbase.

While it is too early to judge how successful or widespread WYST will be, the fact that one state has gone so far so rapidly shows how popular stablecoins are.

Stablecoins are here to stay and are vital to TradFi, centralized exchanges, DEX, and crypto investors of all sizes.

An analyst who’s been making timely altcoin calls as of late thinks that three crypto assets are almost ready to witness moves to the upside.

Pseudonymous analyst Bluntz tells his 252,000 followers on the social media platform X that he’s bullish on Solana (SOL).

According to the top crypto strategist, Solana appears to have completed an ABC corrective wave against Bitcoin (SOL/BTC) on the eight-hour chart.

“SOL gearing up for another run IMO (in my opinion). SOL/BTC looking like a nice ABC now done.

Swept the (a) wave lows and has now reclaimed.” 

Bluntz practices Elliott Wave theory, which states that a bullish asset tends to see a fresh leg up following the conclusion of an ABC correction. Looking at the trader’s chart, he seems to predict that SOL/BTC will rise to 0.00365 BTC ($254).

At time of writing, SOL is worth $194.24.

Next up, the trader says he’s keeping an eye on the Solana-based decentralized exchange (DEX) aggregator Jupiter (JUP). Bluntz predicts that JUP will see rallies after completing an ABC correction.

“JUP looking rather sendy here, definitely the strongest of the holy trinity here: JUP,  JTO and PYTH.” 

At time of writing, JUP is trading for $1.52, up over 7% in the last 24 hours.

The trader is also bullish on top memecoin Dogecoin (DOGE). Bluntz shares two charts to show that DOGE appears to be mirroring a pattern that BTC printed in early 2023 when Bitcoin bottomed out at around $16,000.

At time of writing, DOGE is trading for $0.205.

Ethereum classic was one of the biggest movers to start the weekend, as prices surged to a six-week high. The move saw the token climb by as much as 12%, breaking out of a key resistance level in the process. Polygon also moved higher, as it raced towards a recent price ceiling.

Ethereum Classic (ETC)

Ethereum classic (ETC) rose to a six-week high on Saturday, as prices rallied by as much as 14%.

Following a low of $17.94 on Friday, ETC/USD raced to a peak of $20.68 earlier in today’s session.

As a result of today’s move, ETC broke out of a key resistance level of $20.00, hitting its highest point since November 26 in the process.

Looking at the chart, today’s surge came as the 10-day (red) moving average crossed over its 25-day (blue) counterpart.

Recent rallies have also pushed the 14-day relative strength index (RSI) close to overbought territory, with the indicator tracking at its highest point since last August.

Earlier gains have already begun to fade, with previous bulls likely moving to take profit at the level.

Polygon (MATIC)

Polygon (MATIC) was another notable gainer to start the weekend, with the token climbing for a second straight day.

MATIC/USD raced to a high of $0.8105, which is over 3% higher than Friday’s low at the $0.774 mark.

Today’s gain has pushed polygon closer to a key resistance level of $0.8200, which was last hit on December 27.

As can be seen from the chart, today’s surge has also led to a collision with a ceiling on the RSI, with the index hitting its resistance of 49.00

Due to this, earlier gains have somewhat eased, and as of writing, MATIC/USD is trading at the $0.8039 point.

In order for MATIC to extend recent gains to a third session, price strength will first need to overcome the 49.00 ceiling on the RSI.
